days in Athens

Three weeks of mom’s food, climbing hills (yes, I climb things now, that’s what America does to you), catching up with friends, discovering new places in Athens and partying –not in this order.

So, here’s what we’ve been up to in Greece:

Family fiestas.

Hanging out with small people.

Rediscovering the hills around my parent’s farm.

Enjoying nature –btw the sign says “no trash”.

Finding weird flowers in Attica.

Making new friends on our way to the top of Lycabettus.

One Athens.

Celebrating Music Society‘s first birthday @ΤΩΡΑ K44 in Gazi.

Watching people jump up and down.

Going for a hike in Kaisariani.

While there, giving my mother the church-wedding picture she always wanted framed on her coffee table, in an old Byzantine ruin.

Will climbed a few trees just to get a new perspective on things.

The scenery made us forget our aching feet.

New favorite place in Athens: Belle Epoque. Vintage clothes, tea room, a secret garden and Pasta Flora‘s homemade cakes. Oh, you have to go there.
